An important town hall meeting to discuss Great Sacandaga Lake issues will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2009, at Broadalbin High School. You'll find the particulars in the following press release issued by the Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

This will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about issues that concern you, including the state's recent failed attempt to convert the access permit zone into a public park, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Will the state try again?

I will represent the BBAC. Other participating organizations include the newly formed Sacandaga Protection Committee, the Great Sacandaga Lake Association, the GSL Fisheries Federation, the GSL Business Association, the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors, and the Fulton County Board of Supervisors.

I hope to see you on Monday.
